Thailand - Bangkok and Hua Hin Adventure

Enjoying a central location in the exciting city of Bangkok, this 4-star hotel is friendly and immaculate with great rooms and views across the city. The Amara is 27 floors high with one of its most striking features being a rooftop infinity swimming pool and vibrant bar which is popular with both visitors and residents alike.

The rooms are very spacious with large bathrooms too so there is plenty of room to relax and to store luggage. 

Being located in the Silom area is perfect because you can walk to a variety of great restaurants, bars and shopping areas too. The BTS (Bangkok Transit System) is also nearby meaning you can explore all areas of the city with ease from Silom too.

Golf-wise, the majority of our recommended golf courses are about 45-60 minutes outside of the city perimeter. Golf in Bangkok is an early morning and afternoon event in our opinion. We recommend departing early and having a slow morning at the golf club, enjoying breakfast and warming up at the course, play 18-holes and have some lunch afterwards before heading back to the city with our private transfers. This way you avoid peak time traffic which allows for a much more enjoyable travel experience. Our tip if golfing is to leave early and have a slow morning at the golf club.

Devasom Hua Hin Resort is a charming boutique resort on the edge of Hua Hin. With 23 guest rooms and villas, the emphasis is very much on personal service within stunning surroundings. The rooms and villas are decorated in a style inspired by beach houses in Hua Hin of the Siamese era.

The beach at Devasom Hua Hin Resort is effectively private for the hotel guests due to its position and this creates an even more exclusive feel to the resort. Onsite there is a swimming pool within the mature garden area and an atmospheric restaurant and bar to enjoy in the evenings.

We highly recommend choosing one of their stunning villas. They are very spacious and have panoramic views out to the sea alongside large terraces to enjoy a morning coffee or evening sundowner on. 

Whilst located on the outskirts of Hua Hin, the resort provides a timetabled shuttle bus service into the markets of Hua Hin and the transfer takes no more than 15 minutes making the Devasom ideal for those seeking a slower pace to their Hua Hin golf holiday but all the while, having easy access to the resort too.
