Golf-wise, the majority of our recommended golf courses are about 45-60 minutes outside of the city perimeter. Golf in Bangkok is a morning and early afternoon event in our opinion. Depart early, enjoy a breakfast and warm up at the course, play 18 holes and have some lunch afterwards before heading back to the city with our private transfers. This way you avoid peak time traffic which allows for a much more enjoyable travel experience. Our tip if golfing is to leave early and have a slow morning at the golf club.

Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach - A Concept by Hyatt, is a beachfront hotel on arguably the finest stretch of beach in the Pattaya area. Powder white sand and warm turquoise waters provide an idyllic backdrop to this stunning 5-star resort. Only 90 minutes from Bangkok, it is the perfect place to combine the beach and the city of Bangkok in one amazing trip.

Situated on a 15-acre tropical garden that leads down to the sunset beach, the hotel has 204 rooms and suites that are all clustered around oasis-style swimming pools amid beautifully maintained gardens that contain some of the original out-buildings that occupied the land previously, and all are decorated in the traditional Thai style to add further charm to the resort.

We love the Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach due to its location. You can access the resort of Pattaya via taxi in around 30 minutes but given the hotel facilities and proximity to golf, the Andaz truly is a destination resort in itself.

The golf in the Pattaya area is plentiful and must-play. Our recommended courses are the Siam Country Club courses that include the home of the LPGA, the Siam Old Course. We highly recommend playing their other courses including Plantation, Waterside and Rolling Hills. All are close to the Andaz Resort. Another course we recommend highly is Laem Chabang International Country Club which is a stunning 27-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature design.
