Where is best for golf in the winter?
The Canary Islands of Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura are perfect winter sun golf destinations. With temperatures averaging out at 22-23 degrees – it's ideal golfing and sunbathing weather too.
What are Mainland Spain and Portugal like for a winter golf break?
Temperatures and predictability of weather is much better than the UK during the winter months. It is not uncommon to be playing golf in a polo shirt or shorts in Costa Del Sol, Murcia or the Algarve throughout the winter. The resorts are also much quieter meaning leisurely rounds of golf and very good value too.
We are looking to go further afield for a winter golf escape, where do you recommend?
This is the exciting part, there is so much choice for that coveted winter sun golf holiday. It is peak holiday season in places such as Mauritius in the Indian Ocean or over in the Caribbean too where you can expect temperatures in the late 20’s and early 30’s daily!

Are there any golf holidays off the beaten track?
Agadir in Morocco is a fantastic winter golf destination. Agadir enjoys a similar climate to the Canary Islands too. The courses are excellent as are the hotels and beaches too.
The Portuguese Island of Madeira is another under-the-radar winter golf escape alternative. The island has stunning scenery and some very good golf on offer. The weather is also ideal for a winter escape.
