Waterville Golf Links
Waterville is one of the top links courses in the world, it has been built on classic links land surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and impressive sand dunes. Golf has been played here since 1880 when workers from all around the UK came to the area to build the transatlantic cables and brought the game of golf with them.
Since then the course has went through a lot of changes with the most recent a 4 year project by Tom Fazio which has made the course the magnificent way it is today. It’s a stunning remote location with gently undulating fairways, the front 9 plays across relatively flat ground whereas the back 9 meanders its way through the impressive sand dunes. The view from the elevated tee on the par 3 17th is simply breath-taking.
