Vidago Palace Golf Course is a real treat and an original Mackenzie Ross design from 1936. Since then the course has been brought up to date and is without a doubt the best golf course in the region. Playing homage to its roots, the golf course blends in perfectly with its surroundings with 100-year-old plus woodlands and offers golfers a real test of their game.
A feature of the golf course is the many elevated tees and greens which can prove a real test for all abilities. The course is immaculately presented throughout and very well looked after. The course boasts some stunning views particularly across the valley and over the picturesque neighbouring villages.
At Par 72 and measuring out at over 6500 yards, it is a modern golf course with a rich history that all players of the game will appreciate. There is also a golf academy complete with driving range if you want to sharpen up some areas of your game before heading out onto the course.
