Tralee Golf Club
Tralee was the first golf course to be designed by the late great Arnold Palmer in 1984 and he was quoted as saying “I may of designed the first nine but surely God designed the back nine”. It truly is a world class links course and one that cannot be missed if you are in the area.
Situated on the rugged Atlantic coast of Ireland's south west, the links features towering dunes, undulating fairways, punishing rough and cliff top tees and greens. Twenty minutes’ drive from the town of Tralee and 50 minutes from Killarney, the course enjoys stunning views of Tralee Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.
It’s difficult to single out any holes in particular as they all stand out however the Par 3 third will remind golfers of the world-famous 7th at Pebble Beach.
