Your nearest airport is Palermo – there are flights from airports across the UK and the transfer time is 80 minutes by private car between the airport and the resort.
Don’t worry about sea views either, all the rooms are sea-facing and are no more than 1 story high meaning that the resort has a small, intimate feel.
Being only steps from the beach, the hotel is the perfect summer golf and beach holiday venue.
You can easily walk from your room to the golf courses ensuring that everything is entirely at your own pace in resort, no need to wait for transfers! The golf clubhouse has amazing views over the resort and out to sea too.
With two championship golf courses called the East and West designed by the legendary course designer, Kyle Philips, both golf courses make the most of the unique landscape with some signature holes stretching alongside the coast. It is hard to pick a favourite out of the two but with the newly modified East Course (in 2022) it has some very impressive holes that just about shades it. If looking to work on your game, the practice facilities are perfect and include a 9-hole short course to sharpen up your short game.

The spa at Verdura is also one of the resort highlights. The hydrotherapy pools overlooking the golf course were a personal highlight alongside the heated indoor spa pool. A great way to unwind after 18 holes.
The dining at Verdura is sublime with a nice combination of relaxed and more formal dining experiences depending on your mood. For us, dining on the beach at Amare seafood restaurant was a highlight. For traditional Sicilian fare, Liola’s is a very relaxed choice and if seeking a more formal yet unforgettable dining highlight then Zagara works very well.
