Royal Cape Golf Club is the oldest golf club in South Africa, established in 1885, and lies in the shadow of Table Mountain. The stunning and elegant golf course has hosted the Cape Town open for the last 10 years.
Royal Cape Golf Club is renowned for its traditional, charming, challenging, and classic course layout. The course is a classic parkland course that is relatively flat with narrow fairways, lined by tall trees. Water hazards also come into play on seven different holes.
The facilities at the Royal Cape are superb, including a well-stocked pro shop, electric and pull trolleys, and an excellent restaurant/bar. The course is a must-play when visiting Cape Town – It will not disappoint!
