The two championship golf courses are situated among the truly magnificent Powerscourt Estate which is home to 1,000 acres of what needs to be seen to be believed. Powerscourt is everything that symbolises Ireland’s natural beauty.
The East Course
Powerscourt East Course is one of the finest golf courses in Ireland. Designed by the talented golfer and successful Walker cup captain Peter McEvoy who brilliantly follows the contours of this mature and historic landscape.
The West Course
The West Course at Powerscourt offers a completely different feel and test. It’s a Parkland course with links characteristics and plays 6,345 metres from the championship tees. It was designed by David McLay Kidd, whose portfolio includes the acclaimed Bandon Dunes in Oregon. The West Course offers a variety of challenging holes presenting a fresh perspective on the stunning scenery of the Powerscourt Estate.
The clubhouse overlooks the 9th and 18th hole on the East and 18th on the West which really brings every aspect of the course into view. Unlike many other golf courses Powerscourt has full greens and tees all year-round which, as we know, all golfers love to hear.
