Designed by Nick Faldo, the Faldo Course requires strategic play to score well. The desert like feel of the course provides an entertaining yet stern test of golf.

The Faldo Course is a modern twist on a traditional recipe, with the heather, lush woodland and sandy tracts of Sunningdale being replaced by cacti, wild herbs, holm oaks, ancient olive trees and desert scrub bunkers. This is a golf course that revels in the classic principles of strategic play. Designer Nick Faldo said "The real skill is that when you stand on the tee, the golf hole tells you what to do, and if you do what it tells you there is reward but if you don’t you’re penalized”.
