Oak Point Golf Course is part of the Kiawah Island Golf Resort, located on the Kiawah River and Haulover Creek. The superb 18-hole course is laid out through natural marshlands and woodlands.
Oak Point Golf Course measures 6,700 yards from the championship tees but features 5 sets of tee boxes on each hole and wide fairways, making the course enjoyable for all levels of golfers. The course is said to be the easiest Kiawah Island but to score well, golfers must play strategically to avoid the many water hazards.
The final hole at Oak Point is particularly special and is recognised as the signature hole. The Par-4 offers superb views of the Haulover Creek and the Kiawah River. The right-hand side of the fairway is lined with water hazards which makes the hole particularly challenging and unique.
