National Golf Course
National Golf Course is now a 27 Hole venue as of October 2015. The original 18 Hole Championship course remains unchanged and is now one of the best conditioned courses in the area thanks to the investment from the new owners, The Regnum Group. The Original Academy Course has been extended and completely re-designed to form a full additional 9 Holes.
National Golf Course Information
The most established course in Turkey, co-designed by former Ryder Cup player David Feherty and has played host to the PGA European Tour Seniors Open on two occasions. The National was also voted in Europe’s top 50 courses by Golf World Magazine in the year 2000.
The course was a former host Ladies European Tour in May every year and has also hosted the European Challenge Tour.
Definitely a course for the more experienced player, the fairways wind through avenues of trees and valleys, where good tee shots are required to negotiate the many dog-legs and avoid the well placed water hazards that lie in wait.
Those patient and brave enough to tackle the National Golf Course are rewarded with spectacular scenery, but those trying to overpower the course will lose plenty of golf balls.
The new nine has less trees and more water is is quite contrasting to the original course.
