Meldrum House Knight's Course
Situated North West of Aberdeen, The Knight's Golf Coures at Meldrum house is among Scotland's finest inland layouts. Sitauted only 25 minutes from Aberdeen Airport, this is an exclusive golf course, with only members and guests of the hotel granted admission. It is easy to see why it is ranked in Scotland's Top 100 by Golf World.
On arrival, during your drive into the grounds and towards the clubhouse, there is that feeling that you are in a special place. With world class practice facilities on your left-hand side, there are no excuses for not having a honed short game for when your tee time comes around.
The course is a championship test of parkland golf, being able to be stretched to the magic 7000-yard mark. You are taken on a journey around the 800 year old Meldrum House building, through tall trees and many holes over water hazards (water is in play on 10 holes!). One of the toughest hole to navigate is the par 5 eleventh, with 18 bunkers guarding the putting surface.
The Green complexes are very large and undulating, with many pin positions for the green staff to choose from. Meaning that a green in regulation is only half the job done!
