La Monacilla Golf Club
La Monacilla Golf Club is a great test of golf and a worthy inclusion within any trip to the beautiful Costa de la Luz. Designed by Jose Maria Olazabal, the golf course blends in perfectly to its natural surroundings amid the pine tree forest.
Common features of La Monacilla include the wide, sloping terrain of the fairways and large greens. With multiple tee selections, it offers a challenging proposition but is also very fair to the higher handicappers so that golfing groups of all abilities can enjoy their round.
The lakes on holes 2 and 7 present another challenge and really do help in framing the golf course. The views throughout are excellent and if seeking to fit in some practice, the facilities are first class too.
