Killeen Castle is a must play course if you are touring the area, after playing the front 9 you will think that the course cannot get any better but it does and has some of the best finishing holes in Ireland.
Killeen Castle Golf Course is a world class Jack Nicklaus signature design championship golf course located 30 minutes from Dublin and Drogheda in County Meath. Nicklaus was on hand to oversee each stage of the development and as a result the course is truly majestic. Jack describes it as one of his finest creations.
The 2011 Solheim Cup was awarded to Killeen before the course was completed as the organising committee were so impressed by the plans, the course didn’t disappoint. With beautiful views of the County Meath countryside throughout the 600 acre estate golfers never become bored of the course.
