The course was created in a stunning setting surrounding the oldest continuously inhabited castle in Ireland – Kilkea Castle. The castle ins visible from every hole on this beautiful 18-hole course.
The unique course has been developed to take into play the natural surroundings. The River Greese is a natural waterway which flows through the course and cuts through the Castle, this hazard is encountered at almost every hole. The river, local forestry and other natural wildlife along with the fast and strategically placed greens make for a challenging yet memorable round of golf.
Kilkea Castle Golf Course offers multiple tee-off areas which makes the course a challenge for both beginners and advanced golfers.
