The K Club Palmer South Course
Retief Goosen won on this course in 2004 and Colin Montgomerie ended an 18 month trophy drought here in 2007. For the handicap golfers take advantage of the numerous tee box options and don’t try to be a hero.
Not as well known as the North course but still a European Tour course, the best way to describe the Arnold Palmer designed Palmer South Course at The K Club is that of an inland links course. However, its true attributes do not stop there. Designed as a stadium course and opened in 2003 the course has many dramatic landscapes with dune style mounding throughout the Kildare Golf Resort. This assists in making the course into a true Championship Golf Course with many vantage points for spectators to view golf professionals at work.
