Castle Stuart Golf Links

Castle Stuart Golf Links was designed by acclaimed American course architect Gil Hanse, who’s career has seen him entrusted with redesigns at Merion East, Winged Foot and Pinehurst No. 4 – which is quite the CV. Opened in 2009, it is one of a swath of new courses around Scotland that are giving the old guard a challenge in the rankings.  

The Nairn Golf Club

The Nairn Golf Club has hosted many important amateur and professional Championships during its 125 year history and is regarded as among Scotland’s best golf courses – quite an accolade in a country that has so many of the world’s great links.

Malmaison Aberdeen sets the standard for luxury boutique accommodation in the Granite City.  The atmosphere is home from home but step into the beautifully furnished rooms and you're transported to a stylish world of traditional tartans and velvets and modern conveniences like plasma TVs and ultra-refreshing power showers.  The Brasserie is among the places to eat in this modern, cosmopolitan city and you simply can't beat the popular MalBar for a post round refreshment or pre dinner drink.  The hotel is even home to a fantastic Whisky Snug - the perfect spot to reflect on your days on the links.

Cruden Bay Golf Club

Cruden Bay is highly regarded as one of the top links courses in Scotland and with good reason. The Old Tom Morris design course is an old-fashioned links experience with the wind being an ever present factor. The openness of the course allows for some absolutely stunning views.

Royal Aberdeen Golf Club

Home of the “5 minute” rule in golf, for searching for your ball was invented here, though now cut to 3 minutes. A course you may have heard little about, though is one too add to any golfing bucket list.

The Carnoustie Golf Hotel is located on the first tee of the championship Carnoustie Golf Club. The hotel boasts a superb collection of facilities with a choice of accommodation ranging from luxury en-suite guest rooms to Suites, many enjoying views of the golf course and the town of Carnoustie.  

After a day of golf, you can enjoy the many spa and health facilities the hotel has to offer. Facilities include a large heated swimming pool, sauna, whirlpool, steam room, and fully equipped gymnasium. Carnoustie Burnside Links

The Carnoustie Burnside Links is a fantastic course that has previously been used for Open Qualifying; it’s actually where Ben Hogan qualified before he claimed the Claret Jug on the Championship course in 1953.

Carnoustie Championship Course

Widely regarded as the toughest course on the Open Championship rota, Carnoustie is held in the highest regard with good reason. Carnoustie has hosted 8 Open Championships and 1 Women’s Open Championship.

Carnoustie Buddon Links

The Carnoustie Buddon Links course is the little brother to the Championship Course but in it’s own right, a very good course. It is always presented in immaculate condition and provides a fun and enjoyable challenge to all golfers. The Carnoustie Buddon links has been stretched in length over the years so don’t expect it to be a pushover – especially with the typical east coast breeze.
