Hermitage Golf Club

The unique 18-hole golf course is located in a sylvian setting of over 12,000 trees and borders the River Liffey. The course measures 6069 meters with the front 9 being spread over the top of the valley amongst giant holm oaks, wych elms and evergreens. The back 9 holes are particularly challenging as they head down the stunning valley and along the River Liffey. The signature 10th hole is recognised as one of the top holes in Ireland and involves a 200-foot drop into Liffey Valley, onto an undulating green and just meters from the river. 

Hermitage Golf Course has welcomed many world-famous professional golfers such as: Jose Maria Olazabal, Colin Montgomerie, Ian Woosnam, Paul McGinely, Darren Clarke, and Padraig Harrington who is a regular player at the course. Four-time major winner Rory McIlroy has also visited the course and filled it with praise. 

This traditional golf course also accounts for the demands of modern golfers, featuring top-of-the-range new practice facilities, a recently renovated clubhouse, new bunkers on each hole, a bar and restaurant offering wither casual or formal dining occasions.
