Golf Santa Ponsa 1
Situated close to the centre of the resort of Golf Santa Ponsa 1, this championship golf course has been a popular venue for several tournaments over the years, most recently the DP World Tours Mallorca Golf Open, won by Jeff Winther. It is a firm favourite for many travelling golfers to Mallorca, with easily accessible tee times to visitors.
Offering up wide fairways to encourage players to open their shoulders and pull driver on most tee shots, although a number of water hazards await any wayward tee shots. The Santa Ponsa Golf Course‘s main feature is a large lake which comes into play on the par 4, dog leg 16th hole. The course also offers views across Santa Ponsa Bay, and due its flat terrain and wide fairways, it is a popular choice with novices.
Its length and tempting par 5s make the Santa Ponsa Golf Course a good challenge for the more experienced player as well. The golf course plays it's true length, with very few elevation changes, but can be stretched over 7,000 yards, should you want to take a tester of what challenge faces the tour professionals!
