Gloria Hotels & Resorts - Belek's Largest Golf Resort
I was out in Belek exploring the Gloria Resort in Belek, Turkey and playing their golf courses. This is Belek’s largest golf resort, it is the only resort with 45 holes onsite. The golf club itself is only a short courtesy shuttle away from any of the 3 Gloria hotels.
What struck me most about the golf set up at Gloria is just how good it is for groups and those looking to practice during their stay. There are multiple different dedicated practice areas that you can book off to ensure exclusivity. The two-tier driving range is brilliant and the other short game areas really well maintained and perfect to help sharpen up your game.

There are 2 championship style 18-hole courses at Gloria Golf Club – called Old and New. The New was probably my favourite but only just, in truth both were an excellent test of golf with some spectacular holes where you are flirting with their strategically placed water hazards. You may as well give it a go as you are on your holiday after all! There is also the 9-hole Gloria Verde course which is an excellent 9 holes in its own right. The Verde can be combined with the New course to mix up the set up and give you a variety of different options to play during your stay.

The setting at the clubhouse is perfect for that after golf drink too with plenty of tables and outdoor seating to discuss the round in the sunshine.

Now onto the hotels, there are 3 hotels at Gloria Resort:
The cheaper of the 3 hotels, the Verde is a friendly hotel with a brilliant indoor pool and spa area. Add to this a great selection of restaurants and bars too. The rooms are of a good size and the general set up is great for groups and families.
A firm favourite of our golfing groups. The Gloria Golf hotel is a welcoming hotel, full of golfers during the golf holiday season. The restaurants are great, and I particularly enjoyed the Italian restaurant. The outdoor swimming pools and terraces are ideal for relaxing in after golf and you are only a short walk to the beach too.
If you are looking for a 5-star luxury experience then it must be the Gloria Serenity hotel. Ideal for couples and groups of couples, the hotel rooms are brilliant and the overall atmosphere in the resort is just so relaxing. The service levels are what you expect from Gloria. The superior laguna rooms here enjoy direct access into the lagoon swimming pool too so if looking for a room upgrade option, this would be my recommendation!
Each of the hotels have their own character and style but regardless of which hotel you choose, the Gloria service levels and quality of the food and drinks are the same throughout.

- Gloria Hotels & Resorts have some really good deals for those booking early so the earlier you book, the better the price!
- If staying at Gloria Serenity, you can use each of the a la carte restaurants once without charge
- If staying at Gloria Golf, we recommend a main building room – closer to the restaurants and bars with bedrooms being slightly bigger too
