The original 18 hole design at El Rompido, the South course is a firm favourite with most golfers enjoying a golf holiday at El Rompido Golf Resort. The golf course is a hidden gem in our view and offers a great variety of golf holes with some even running nearby to the protected marshland areas which provides amazing ocean views.
El Rompido South is a golf course that requires a more delicate touch rather than raw power, there are some tricky approaches and tough greens to navigate alongside some great views over the local area and resort. The clubhouse is integrated into the resort and is only steps from the hotel at El Rompido itself. With a deliberate lack of real estate, golfing at El Rompido is a real pleasure and almost unspoilt which is rare for holiday golf resorts in Spain.
