Opened 3 years after the South Course, El Rompido North is a tough but very enjoyable test of your holiday golf amongst the most natural of settings offering unspoilt views over the resort and the Atlantic Ocean. It is a very good pairing with the South course and hard to pick a favourite in our view.
The North Course at El Rompido has a testing par 4 to start to focus the mind with the front nine being a tougher general start than you would ordinarily expect from resort golf in Spain. The back nine is a delight with some fantastic changes in elevation throughout. What the North course gives, it quickly takes away. The golf course is very open off the tee, but your approach shot is what will shape your scoring with some narrow approaches and tricky greens to test your approach play!
