The Wild Dunes Resort is an award winning golf and leisure resort located on the Isle of Palms in Charleston, South Carolina.  There are two excellent Tom Fazio designed courses at the resort including the Links and the Harbor Courses.

The resort itself offers a variety of accommodation and dining options.  We recommend the Villas or Condos as they offer a good quality accommodation and are excellent value.  The Villas are primarily 1,2 or 3 bedroom with living room, dining room and kitchen facilities.  The majority of rooms are en-suite and the villas are only a short walk to the main facilities and the first tee of both courses.

This is the ideal base to enjoy the Isle of Palms and to visit the historic City of Charleston or the equally impressive Kiawah Island.

Wild Dunes Links

The Links Course at Wild Dunes was Tom Fazio`s first golf course design and still one of his favourites.  At Just over 6500 yards from the back tees, it's not long by today's standards but there are quite a few water hazards to contend with.

The back nine has some stunning views over the ocean with 15 and 16 being well defended by some of the South Carolina marshlands.

There are excellent practice facilities on-site with a driving range, putting green and chipping green all in close proximity to the clubhouse.

Wild Dunes Harbor

The Harbor Course at Wild Dunes is slightly shorter than the Links by around 100 yards but is not quite as generous off the tee.  The course occupies a slim stretch of land where the intercoastal waterway features heavily on the back nine guarding the left side of most fairways.

Another excellent Tom Fazio Design that makes the most of the great views of coastal South Carolina.
