Pure Salt Port Adriano

Close to the resort of Santa Ponsa in the town of Camp de Mar, Golf de Andratx was opened for play in 2003. With silky greens, tight fairways and testing elevation changes means Andratx has quickly received the reputation as one of the most difficult golf courses in Majorca.

Arabella Golf Course Descriptions

Situated close to Majorca’s capital Palma, Arabella Golf consists of three courses, Son Vida, Son Muntaner and Son Quint.

Son Vida is the oldest course on the island, originally opened in 1964. Despite undergoing a complete renovation in 2001, the course hasn’t lost any of its original character. It is famed for its wide fairways and breathtaking views across the bay of Palma. At only 6100 yards, Son Vida Golf Course is short by modern standards. It is renowned for its long sweeping doglegs and the dramatic par 5, 18th, which includes a second shot over water.

Son Muntaner was added to Arabella Golf in the summer of 2000 and is a tougher and longer challenge than its sister. Tight fairways and large greens are a trademark of the course, as are the many water features that await errant approach shots.

Son Quint is the newest course on the island.

Located just 15 minutes from from Palma, Real Golf de Bendinat was originally opened as a 9 hole golf course in 1986 and then upgraded to a full 18 hole layout in 1995. Built in an extensive wooded valley, this hilly course offers stunning sea views from most holes. At just over 6100 yards in length with generous fairways, Bendinat Golf Course is both a challenging and enjoyable for players of all abilities.

Situated between Palma city and Playa de Palma, Son Antem offers 2 x 18 hole golf courses with complete contrast in styles. The East Course was designed with novice and beginners in mind with flat wide open fairways and very little in the way of rough. The only obstacles to overcome are the 5 lakes which come into play on a number of holes. The East Course is a popular choice for groups on their first days play in Majorca, allowing a more straightforward golf course on which to limber up for the more challenging courses on the island. The West Course at Son Antem opened in 2001 to much acclaim and is a tougher proposition than the East Course. Tight fairways call for accuracy from the tee and with a number of raised greens, distances can be deceiving. There is also a number of water hazards and strategically positioned bunkers to contend with.

T-Golf Calvia (formerly known by “Golf de Poniente” and more recently T-Golf and Country Club) has undergone a complete course and clubhouse renovation in recent years, is now considered one of the must-play golf courses on the island of Majorca. A fantastic mix of flatter lowland holes, mixed with testing narrower holes in amongst the Majorcan pines, T-Golf Calvia’s terrain offers a beautiful journey whilst you play and views of the idyllic countryside.
Located in the west, it is the perfect golf course for golfers staying in the popular resorts of Magaluf, Santa Ponsa and Palma Nova.

Distance From Course: 2 miles

Situated close to the centre of the resort of Golf Santa Ponsa 1, this championship golf course has been a popular venue for several tournaments over the years, most recently the DP World Tours Mallorca Golf Open, won by Jeff Winther. It is a firm favourite for many travelling golfers to Mallorca, with easily accessible tee times to visitors.

Opened in May 1998, Son Termens is one of the newer breeds in Majorca Golf. It is a picturesque, yet demanding golf course that has been superbly laid out amongst the local features.

The hilly Son Termens Golf Course is surrounded by mountains and offers panoramic views towards the Bay of Palma. Set in a valley, it takes advantage of its natural terrain more than any other golf course in the Balearics.

Son Termens prides itself on its greens, which are of the highest standard. Many of them are protected by bunkers, trees and ravines. The course leaves very little margin for error, but no matter what your handicap, you will always enjoy testing you skills against the par 71.

The dogleg 18th hole is a great finisher. After coming off the green and walking to the elevated club house, you are provided with a stunning view of the entire course. It is a perfect place to sit and reflect at the end of your round at Son Termens Golf Course.

Designed by the legendary Nicklaus Design Team, T-Golf Palma Puntiro is set on a 165-acre estate close to the city of Palma. In 2022 the golf course was acquired by the T-Club group, who manage golf courses to an incredibly high standard, and promise to hit peak levels at the only Jack Nicklaus designed golf course in Mallorca.

Designed by Kurt Rossknecht and opened in 2000, Son Muntaner is the jewel in the crown of the Arabella Golf Resort. The choice course for the Mallorca Golf Open in 2022, it received plaudits from the field of the world’s best golfers.

On arrival, you are met with every facility that you would expect and 5 star service. The clubhouse sits against the surrounding hills, viewing over a number of holes that wind below it. The terrace is a popular spot to enjoy a delicious lunch and a cold beer!

Son Gual Golf Course opened in October 2007 and was the dawning of a dream that began in 1995 to design and lay out a high quality golf course in Majorca. It is arguably one of the best golf courses in Europe and certainly in the running for best golf course in Majorca.

Designed by the former German amateur champion, Thomas Himmel, Son Gual is set on a beautiful plot of Majorcan countryside, in amongst countless mature olive trees, the standard of maintenance is impeccable, making any visit to play here a treat for players of all standards.

Son Antem Golf Course Descriptions

Golf Son Quint nestles between the hills of Son Vida and the island´s capital of Palma. 
Son Quint is the youngest golf course on the island of Majorca, opening in 2007 and is part of the Arabella Group of golf courses. 

The shortest of the 3 Arabella Golf Courses, Golf Son Quint was visited by Tiger and Charlie Woods during their golf holiday in 2022.
