Top Tips for a golf holiday in Dublin & the East of Ireland:
Why not try splitting your 4 night trip in 2 different locations to get an excellent variety of golf, 2 nights K-Club and 2 nights Carton House for example and you can play 4 top courses in 4 days. Or 2 nights to relax in a golf resort and 2 nights craic in Dublin. We can tailor make your break to suit.
April is a great month to visit Ireland, shoulder season for the majority of golf courses and hotels and has been the driest month for the last couple of years.
No visit to Dublin is complete without a trip to the Guinness brewery, not far from Dublin City centre, an excellent experience rounded off by a pint of the black stuff.
Only a 45-minute drive from Dublin and not a hidden gem as such as it did host the 2011 Solheim cup but we recommend Killeen Castle golf course as a nice day trip. An excellent course and often forgotten about.
View Killeen CastleThe best way to see Dublin and the East is self-drive so why not bring your own car on Stena Line, Holyhead to Dublin is just over 3 hours or Belfast Harbour is only a 1 hour 45 minute drive to the Dublin area. It’s a very relaxing journey compared to flying.
