The Lavida Hotel, onsite at the Camiral Resort is a casual-chic 4 star golfers hotel offering a very relaxed setting to immerse yourself in an unforgettable golf break in this beautiful region of Spain.

Lavida is perfect for golfing groups with a modern look and feel throughout the hotel. We recommend flying into Girona or Barcelona airports. Girona airport is only 10 minutes from the resort and if you wish an evening out then we highly recommend a trip into Girona city which is easily accessible via local taxi for a night outside of the Camiral Resort. Rooms can be twin/double or single occupancy at Lavida and one of our top tips for optimal comfort if travelling as a group is to go for single occupancy rooms as they will offer you the most space.

The Camiral Resort (formerly known as PGA Catalunya) has two onsite golf courses called the Stadium and Tour courses. Both are fantastic golf courses and command the accolade of both being in Spain’s top 10 golf courses. They offer different experiences and complement each other very well. The Stadium is the harder and longer of the two courses and has played host to numerous professional events.

Within the Lavida hotel and Camiral resort, there is a great selection of dining options. You can choose to dine around at the neighbouring Hotel Camiral which has a great fine dining restaurant. There are more casual Italian style and Mediterranean options too or simply relax in the clubhouse with your favourite post golf lunch!

Stadium Course

Camiral Golf and Wellness is one of the most sought-after golf resort set-ups in Spain with two magnificent courses – Stadium and Tour.

The Stadium Course is considered the strongest of the two courses but there is not much to pick between them. The European Tour has been a regular visitor to Camiral Golf and Wellness, hosting the Spanish Open with high-profile winners alongside being a host of the European Qualifying School for many years now.

Tour Course

The perfect complement to the sister Stadium Course. The Tour Course is an easier overall layout and a very enjoyable 18-hole set-up. The Costa Brava Golf Course is located close to the popular seaside resort of Lloret de Mar and 4km from the modern, cosmopolitan town of Platja d’Oro. 

The 27-hole set-up combines a very technical course in the first round with a more relaxed one in the second and it now includes a further 9 new holes to complete this 27-hole complex.

Girona Golf Course Description

This course is unique to Spain in that it is entirely seeded with Pencross Grass. The front 9 is relatively flat but requires accuracy through the tight tree lined fairways and well guarded greens. The back 9 is set in more hilly terrain with all the tees being built on walls offering impressive views of the surrounding area. At 6600 years in length and a good variation in difficulties, the Girona Golf Course is a popular choice with players of all levels and abilities.

Club Golf d'Aro - Mas Nou

Situated 300 metres above sea level in the southern Costa Brava, the Club Golf d'Aro - Mas Nou offers stunning views of the surrounding area.

Club Golf d'Aro - Mas Nou Golf Course Description

It is an undulating course lined with over a thousand olive trees. Club Golf d'Aro - Mas Nou features two artificial lakes and its bunker-guarded greens call for accuracy at all times.

This is definitely a course suited to mid to low handicappers, although there is a 9-hole par 3 course for beginners as well as a superb Club Golf d'Aro - Mas Nou golf school.
