A true haven of golf holiday escapism, La Galiana is an adult-only boutique golf resort situated in a special countryside location between Valencia and Alicante. La Galiana Golf is one of Spain’s hidden gems when it comes to golf courses. It is a privilege to play and a fantastic layout with some terrific views throughout. A challenging design, La Galiana has a choice of tees and our top tip is to choose wisely! Sloping fairways are commonplace and there are a number of elevation changes – a buggy is advised.

Onsite is a great spa, the perfect place to relax after golf. Or spend time at the outdoor pool and enjoy a drink from the pool bar. The restaurant onsite is also very good and offers a choice of menu and buffet options throughout the day.

Olivia Nova

The Olivia Nova Golf Course was designed and built by Severiano Ballesteros. 

It is a links, par 72 of 6,312 m and a slope of 129, whose main characteristic is that in 15 of its holes, water enters into the game. The only ones which are water free are holes 2, 13 and 14. 

It is a fairly technical course with soft undulations in the land, easy to walk and made up of the traditional formula of four pars 3,four pars 5 and ten pars 4. As with most courses, good shots are rewarded and those that aren`t are penalised.

El Saler

The Parador de El Saler (Valencia) Golf course is considered by professionals, amateurs, institutions and the specialized press alike to have one of the best course layouts in the world.

Built in 1968 by the internationally recognized "architect of Spanish golf," Javier Arana, the course is located in the El Saler Nature Reserve, on the shores of the Mediterranean sea in the Autonomous Community of Valencia.

The course`s design took into account its integration in the protected landscape (with native plants such as the famous pale stonecrop plant, locally called "cat`s claw"). The course layout is varied, ranging from the beach links reminiscent of the famous Scottish golf courses, to areas of typical Mediterranean forest.
The par-72 course measures 6.042 m, spread out over 18 holes. The club also offers a golf school; driving range; putting greens; 2 approach greens; a pro-shop; rental of clubs, hand carts and electric golf carts; and a restaurant and snack bar.
 
The Parador de El Saler (Valencia) golf course is considered one of the 60 best in the world and one of the 3 best in Europe - a view which is vouched for in testimonies from both professional and amateur players, institutions and the golf press.
