Fairmont Mayakoba

The Fairmont name is synonymous with luxury and the Fairmont Mayakoba certainly delivers on this and with plenty to spare. From the moment you pass through the resort gates, you will know you have arrived somewhere special. You then wind your way through the lush mangroves and arrive at your end destination.

From there, you will be shuttled to your room. There are complimentary shuttles to take you anywhere in the resort during your stay, which is extensive in size. Guests can also make use of the resort pedal bikes to get around, should you wish to work off those delicious tacos from lunch. The rooms are generous in size and offer views over the dense green surroundings, the meandering lagoon and there are also suites that are situated down by the sand with direct access to the beach.

A key element to any fantastic holiday is wonderful food, Fairmont Mayakoba has 6 restaurants and bars on site, with the option to go all inclusive. There are plentiful options for guests; La Laguna is the main restaurant, where there is an amazing spread put on every morning for breakfast. It is a great spot to park yourself here during lunch and dinner too, enjoying cocktails as the day turns into night.
Another dining option at Fairmont Mayakoba is Ki’ Beach Bar & Korean Grill, a firm favourite for the beach day out, offering feet in the sand dining and delicious Korean barbeque on our plate. There is also La Cantina, with a delicious locally inspired menu and Tauro Steakhouse, for the full American steakhouse experience.

As with other Mayakoba properties, guests are perched within touching distance of the El Camaleón Golf Course. Reduced green fees are a great benefit and courtesy shuttles will of course take you to and from the golf course clubhouse. The Greg Norman design golf course receives regular plaudits from PGA Tour Professionals, who play in the Mayakoba Classic.
