The Barcelo Montecastillo is one of our favourite golfers’ hotels in Spain. A very relaxed 5-star golf resort where you can walk from breakfast to the first tee with ease.

Well located close to the town of Jerez which is renowned for its bodegas and the home of sherry wine, the town is simply must visit on a night or two of your stay.

The onsite Montecastillo Golf Club is a Jack Nicklaus masterpiece. A true test of golf from start to finish with some truly unforgettable holes. Buggies are highly recommended around here due to the course elevation at points. It will challenge every club in the bag and at points, is very camera worthy! As a resident of the hotel, you enjoy incredible value golf at Montecastillo for the quality of the golf course.

The resort offers a variety of board basis options. From the flexibility of bed and breakfast to the golfers favourite of all inclusive, there is a choice for all.

Aside from the golf, the hotel boasts some great leisure facilities to relax in after your game. The spa is excellent and then there is the outdoor swimming pool to lap up the sunshine.

It couldn’t be easier to access either. Fly into Jerez and you’ll be in the hotel within minutes. Or choose to fly into Seville, Gibraltar or Malaga. There are plenty of great options.

Barcelo Montecastillo is an excellent choice for a golf break in Spain, everything flows well within the resort. It is a sports resort at heart with the Moto-GP racetrack located just behind the hotel and also offering 3 football pitches, the resort attracts some of the best football teams in Europe to use their facilities in the close season.
