The areas within Costa Navarino are defined as:

Navarino Waterfront
This is where you will find the W Hotel and the Bay golf course with its stunning sea-facing clubhouse which is built into the golf course. The Agora waterfront area with its multiple restaurants, cafes and bars is must visit too.

Navarino Dunes
Home of the Westin and Romanos hotels and the village square which has over 20 restaurants and bars to choose from. The Dunes golf course and incredible Flame restaurant is also within a short walking distance alongside the amazing spa! 

Navarino Bay
This is the ultra-exclusive area of the resort where you find the Mandarin Oriental resort, its amazing spa and 5 luxurious and unique dining options. 

Navarino Hills
With 2 golf courses designed by Jose Maria Olazabal called the Hills and the International Olympic Academy Course. These two courses are unbelievable golf course designs and boast some of the best views. A true test of golf. 
 

 

The Westin Resort, Costa Navarino

Dining in Costa Navarino

 

Across the Navarino Dunes, Waterfront and Bay neighbourhoods, Costa Navarino Resort is not lacking in memorable dining options.

You have a choice of over 20 restaurants and bars within Navarino Dunes whereas within the Waterfront and Bay areas, there is the Agora which has a wide array of options.  Additionally, each of the hotels have their own restaurant options and Navarino guests can dine at any of them, and then charge to your room.

With a cuisine and a theme to suit every taste, Navarino ticks all of the boxes when it comes to food and drinks.
 

Golf at Costa Navarino

You have four excellent golf courses to choose from, all offering a different challenge making Navarino a true golf holiday destination. The variety on offer will truly put Navarino as one of the finest golfing destinations in Europe.  

The Dunes Course is the first signature golf course in Greece and currently holds the number 1 spot! Designed by former Ryder Cup Captain Bernard Langer it’s easy to see why people rave about this course. Much of it has been shaped to create the ambience of a links course with undulating greens and steep faced pot bunkers. Fairways are generous so it's all about being strategic and avoiding those bunkers!   

The Bay Course was designed by renowned course architect Robert Trent Jones Jnr and is situated 10km away from the hotel. It gives some breathtaking views around the bay of which it takes its name. This course is different than the Dunes but still so much fun to play.  The course is certainly shorter, greens much less undulating but has plenty of elevation changes which allows you to experience some wonderful views of the Bay and Ionian Sea.   Buggies are mandatory here due to some of the steep climbs.  

  

The Hills Course is a simply magnificent golf course and must play during your golf holiday at Costa Navarino Resort. The golf course sits above the coastline offering stunning views across the resort.

International Olympic Academy Golf Course is located within the prestigious Navarino Hills area of the Costa Navarino Resort, the course enjoys a terrific position with views for miles over Navarino Bay. The course was designed by two-time Masters champion and Ryder Cup legend Jose Maria Olazabal as a nod to golf's return to the Olympic games to encourage more people to take up the game.

 

Costa Navarino Facilities
  

Costa Navarino has plenty to offer onsite other than golf with an impressive 13 racquet courts, race track, basketball court and several indoor and outdoor swimming pools.  They also have an Aqua park which is very fun and popular with families. 
 

The Spa at Costa Navarino is also very impressive with a full range of specialty spa treatments based on health and beauty practices of ancient Greece which make full use of the region’s exclusive natural and revitalizing ingredients, as well as an extensive range of luxury spa products from around the globe.

The resort hosts various classes each morning and they are at set times and free. Golfers can use the ‘warm up’ class and then the stretching class after they finish. 
Finally in the courtyard where you will find many of their fine a la carte restaurants is an outdoor cinema playing classic films every evening.    

 

Costa Navarino Top Tips
 

•    The resort is accessible via both Athens and Kalamata airports. Kalamata is a small regional airport mainly serviced throughout the peak travel months. Athens is an international airport that has direct access year-round. If you can’t find direct Kalamata flights then do consider Athens and we can add on a private land transfer at just over 3 hours away from the resort.

•    Half board is a good way to keep costs down. You will benefit from a wide range of dining options safe in the knowledge that you have pre-paid in advance.

•    If a group, we can organise a drinks package alongside the half board which includes a range of soft drinks alongside beer and wine throughout your meal. Ask our experts for more information.

•    There is no need to worry about transporting your golf clubs around the resort for each golf round. The golf club staff make sure that your clubs are at the golf course in advance of your next round – a great service! 

•    Golf buggies and all golf transfers are included within your package.

•    Take a trip to the local coastal town of Pilos which is an authenic seaside town. It is a great chance to see a different side to the area and appreciate the landscape and culture.

•    Costa Navarino produces its own wine and award-winning Extra Virgin Olive Oil. We highly recommend drinking the wine and bringing the olive oil home!

Flights to Costa Navarino

From March to November, you will fly into Kalamata which is approx 45mins from the hotel.   In the low season you would fly to Athens and it's around 2.5 hours transfer to the hotel.  With the Navarino area getting larger, we expect an increase of flight options to Kalamata in the near future.
