The Champion at PGA National
Florida Golf Courses
Originally designed by Tom and George Fazio for major tournaments, The Champion was redesigned by Jack Nicklaus in 2014 and hosts the PGA TOUR’s Honda Classic each spring. It features The Bear Trap, which spans three demanding holes designed by Nicklaus, and is called “one of the toughest stretches in golf".
Arguably one of the toughest challenges on tour, the golf course is more sympathetic to the mortal golfer when not in tournament set up mode with five different tee’s to choose from to make your experience that much better for golfers of all abilities. Despite large greens and generous landing areas, it is your golf course management skills that will be tested throughout. It is a great test of golf.
