It’s a fabulous setting amongst towering sand dunes with a burn flowing through the course and views over the River Bann and Donegal.
The Mussenden course which is named after the nearby clifftop temple lies at the mouth of the River Bann where it meets the Atlantic Ocean. Not as famous as its neighbours Portrush and Portstewart but considered every bit as good by many. It is tipped by many to become a future Irish Open course such is the standard of the layout. The Par 5 5th is considered to be one of the most scenic on the Island of Ireland.
