Carton House O'Meara Course
15 miles from Dublin in the Carton House Estate and considered to be the easier of the two courses at Carton House the O’Meara is as close to a top class California Parkland course as you will find in Ireland.
The O’Meara course offers such a picturesque setting whilst still being fraught with danger. The course offers such a firm challenge to all players, take a minute or two to take in the surroundings.
The Tyrconnel Tower overlooks the course and can be seen from 11 of the 18 holes. The best holes are saved for almost the end as the O’Meara course has it very own Amen corner from holes 14 to 16. The 14th is a par 3 to a green completely surrounded by water, the 15th is a Par 5 which crosses the river twice and the 16th if a Par 3 with a carry over water of 150 yards
