Ardglass Golf Club
Northern Ireland Golf Courses
Ardglass Golf Club is located in the coastal fishing village of Ardglass, County Down in Northern Ireland. This stunning 18-hole course is a hidden gem in Northern Ireland due to its coastal and rural location but is without doubt one of the most beautiful links courses in all of Ireland.
Ardglass Golf Course features many elevated tees offering breath-taking views of the cold Irish Sea and the seaside cliffs. The golf club is home to the world’s oldest clubhouse which dates back to the 12th century. The clubhouse is the perfect place to unwind after an unforgettable round of golf, offering a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The tricky 18-hole course is renowned for its exceptional fairways, challenging pot bunkers and fast, hard greens. The first 5 holes at Ardglass are particularly superb as they are lined by cliff edges and cliff tops. The signature hole is the 2nd which is a par 3 and measures 167-yards and involves a tee shot played over a rocky inlet onto a small and challenging green.
