Alto Golf Course
The Alto Golf Course is a 18 hole course located close to the fishing village of Alvor near to Portimao. This course is situated close enough to the ocean to give the player an occasional sea view. A simple par 3 opens your round but it is deceiving to what is in store. The Alto Golf Course is considered a good test of the ability of the player with strategic bunkers, dog-legs, elevated greens and well placed trees. A further noteworthy challenge is the par 5 on the sixteenth that is considered to be one of the longest holes in Europe.

Located on the edge of the picturesque fishing village of Alvor, the rolling fairways and elevated greens test all and reward anyone who enjoys thinking about their game.
Clubhouse
- The Alto Clubhouse located in the heart of the resort and offers a full complement of services such as:
- The Pro Shop, with well-known international golf brands.
- Club and buggy rental.
- Changing and locking facilities.
- Restaurant and Bar, from whose terrace you enjoy the most spectacular view to the fairway overlooking the 3rd hole
- Full reception facilities
- Putting green
- The golf reception is open every day from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the winter, and to 9 p.m. in the summer.
The opening hours of the Restaurant and Bar are every day from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. for breakfast, snacks and lunch. Service includes traditional Portuguese and International cuisine, vegetarian and diabetic meals can be prepared and arranged on request. The clubhouse restaurant also offers the possibility of catering up to 100 guests for special events (meetings, banquets, weddings etc).
