Opened in 1891, the Royal Golf Club of Las Palmas is the oldest course in Gran Canaria and also boasts being the first golf course in Spain. Sometimes referred to as “Bandama Golf”, the golf course is located on the edge of Caldera de Bandama (Volcano crater), a few kilometres from the capital Las Palmas.
Playing holes down and away from the clubhouse at the beginning of your round, means that you will need to be aware of the return up the slopes on holes 9 and 18. Legendary for having some of the best greens on the island and fantastic practice facilities, Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas is a treat for those that include it in the golf holiday itinerary.
As a members golf club – Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas is only open for play mid-week to visitors.
